Keto Smoothie Recipes

Many people have made the switch to a ketogenic diet in an attempt to lose weight, fuel the brain, or manage other specific health conditions. The basis of the keto diet is to reduce the amount of carbohydrates in the diet and drastically increase the amounts of fats.

Smoothies can be a simple and easy meal for those on the keto diet. Here are five of our favorite recipes:

Brazen Berry Smoothie

1 cup water

1/2 cup of frozen berries (try strawberries, blueberries, and/or raspberries)

1/2 avocado

2 cups of spinach

2 tablespoons of hemp seeds

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 TBSP of creamy peanut butter or almond butter

1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 cup of ice

Coconut Cream Smoothie

1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk

¾ cup ice cubes

1 scoop chocolate vegan protein powder

1 tablespoon MCT oil

¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3 tablespoons coconut cream

Keto Green Machine
1 handful kale leaves
½ avocado
1 stick celery
4-5 slices cucumber
1 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
1 TBSP MCT oil
2 TBSP lemon juice

Mocha Keto Coffee Smoothie
¾ cup coconut milk, frozen into ice cubes
½ cup brewed coffee, cold
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (if vanilla powder, add 1 TBSP cocoa powder)
1 TBSP cashew butter
